Plenty of sun, stubborn cloud for some

A fine day to come under high pressure but with some stubborn low cloud and fog around.

Some patchy low cloud or fog in parts to start the early morning, but with increasing amounts of warm sunshine breaking through as the day wears on.

A little more cloud lingering along the east coast, particularly of East Anglia and Kent, with temperatures a little further inland from here reaching the low-20s.

Further patches of mist and fog perhaps developing overnight under clear skies.
