A broadly cloudy for many, with any sunshine in the east to start the day soon being replaced by more extensive cloud.

Outbreaks of rain will push up from the south into Ireland, heavy in places, and with a few lighter spots possible elsewhere in the south and west too. The persistent rain pushing further east overnight.
