Weather trend
Dry, warm weather from pressure pattern

Plenty of dry, summery weather with little rain on the way.

With high pressure locked in place, there is a consistent warm, mostly dry, forecast ahead.

The period of warm, sunny and dry weather is set to continue. Temperatures reaching highs of 14 to 22°C, with the coolest temperatures on the East Coast along with moderate gusting winds.

The warmest weather is on the west coast of Scotland and in the west of Ireland. There will be a mixture of lots of sunshine, a few high clouds and smaller clouds due to an unusual pressure system phenomenon.

An omega blocking high is in place, locking high pressure over the UK and Ireland with two lows either side. Resulting in the generally dry, clear conditions into the next week.

On Monday and Tuesday, there will be a few temporary showers in the south of England, having developed Sunday evening. After that, stable high pressure weather will return.

Little rain is expected until the end of next week, restrained primarily to Ireland and Scotland, leaving the rest of the UK still in the grip of a dry spell before further relief the week following.
