The northern lights returned to our skies once again. Did you get to experience the spectacle?

The aurora, or northern lights returned on Thursday night, 10th October. They were visible as far south as London, in similar style to earlier this year, when we saw the first extreme geomagnetic storm since 2003.

Not only did the sun's enhanced activity and a severe geomagnetic storm allow us to see the northern lights this time around, but we very much have the weather to thank for that too.

Clear skies overhead for many of us allowed for perfect viewing conditions, with the aurora even visible to the naked eye.

If you caught the show too, share your photos in our uploader for a chance to be featured!
