Pushing east
Fresh front brings more rain in parts

Weather map at 13:00 on 10.09 showing rain across Ireland, Scotland and northwest England, with arrows indicating showers moving east toward Liverpool.
Rain moves through Ireland and the UK on Thursday.

It's another wet, showery day for Ireland and parts of the UK as a fresh front pushes in from the Atlantic.

After moving through Ireland in the morning, bringing light showers as it does so, the front continues east into the afternoon bringing heavier rainfall.

After noon, this reaches the western coast of the UK, across Scotland, northern England, and Wales.

Later in the day, brisk winds begin to pick up behind the front. Gusts of 25 to 30 mph are expected widely, growing stronger for a spell in eastern Scotland.

Keep an eye on how the front affects the day on the WeatherRadar.
