Cloudy with rain in the north

A widely cloudy day with spells of rain across north-west Scotland.

Outbreaks of rain will be continuing across northern and western Scotland during the morning, alongside blustery winds, these easing through the day.

Elsewhere it will be a broadly cloudy picture once again, but staying largely dry and mild, with little change into the overnight period.

As it's the end of the week you'll have your usual weather trend coming out later today, but before that we'll be covering the latest astro events.
