Breakfast brief
Any dry weather this Bank Holiday?

After a mixed bag this weekend, here's how your Bank Holiday Monday is shaping up.

Kickstarting the morning

Welcome to the breakfast brief, offering a first look at today's weather and a sneak peek at the day's news.

Weather outlook

A drier day across the UK and Ireland than what we've seen throughout the weekend, with largely dry conditions and sunny spells for most.

Later in the day however, an area of rain waiting out in the wings of the Atlantic will make its way eastwards into Ireland, pushing in through the evening and overnight, reaching Scotland later too.

What's coming up in the news

A bank holiday means an extra day to spend as you wish, if you need ideas, check out some ideas we have no matter the weather, later today.
