Warmer, but rain moving in

Frontal systems tracking west to east over the weekend.

After a bitterly cold few days under arctic air, it's all change through the weekend as winds switch round to the south-west.

A warm front tracking west to east will be bringing a narrow band of rain across from Ireland into north-west Scotland through the course of Saturday.

The rest of the UK will remain dry with sunny spells, though a little more cloud around than recent days.

Patchy rain will continue to affect north-western portions heading into the evening, staying chilly under clear skies in the south-east, with rain gradually sinking a little further southwards into Sunday.

Most of the south and east will be staying dry during the day, with temperatures peaking in the high teens. Some patchy rain possibly edging in later in the day though.

So, keep your eyes on the WeatherRadar and your umbrellas handy, but enjoy the warmer weather!
