Storm Ashley will be clearing eastwards, but it will still be a blustery picture with spells of rain.

Weather outlook

As Storm Ashley continues to clear east, strong winds will still persist further north, with winds gusting 40 - 50 mph across parts of Northern Scotland, still up to 60 mph for the Shetland Isles.

An overcast picture to the south-east, with spells of rain pushing in. Some showers initially to the west between sunshine too, but with further outbreaks of rain arriving from the west later in the day too.
