Spring-like outlook - Bright and warm conditions take hold

Spring-like outlook
Bright and warm conditions take hold

Side-by-side UK maps for Friday 24.04 and Saturday 25.04 showing daytime temperatures in orange tones, with highs around 13 to 21 on Friday and slightly cooler values in parts of Scotland on Saturday.
Highs reach around 20 °C and the upper-teens into the weekend.

Dig out the sunscreen once again, the latest warmer spell has arrived with plenty of spring sunshine too.

High-pressure is settling over the UK and Ireland to end the week, bringing with it more settled weather and warmer temperatures thanks to an area of low pressure over the Atlantic dragging warmer air in from Africa.

This, combined with clear skies, means it's time to keep an eye on the UV levels and apply sunscreen as needed when enjoying the pleasant conditions.
