High-pressure is settling over the UK and Ireland to end the week, bringing with it more settled weather and warmer temperatures thanks to an area of low pressure over the Atlantic dragging warmer air in from Africa.

This, combined with clear skies, means it's time to keep an eye on the UV levels and apply sunscreen as needed when enjoying the pleasant conditions.
