Mixed outlook
Showers aplenty but warmth rises again

Mostly dry Wednesday, but keep a brolly for showers in places.

The week sees plenty of showers moving through, but also ends with warmth rising once again.

Wednesday is a mostly dry one across the UK and Ireland with a mix of patchy cloud and sunny spells. Scattered showers will develop through the day, most commonly across southwest England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, plus parts of eastern and southern Ireland.

Feeling cool for the time of year, with temperatures generally below average across the countries.

Thursday enjoys another largely dry start with some sunshine, but cloud will thicken from the west through the day.

Patchy light rain and drizzle will move into western areas, while scattered showers develop elsewhere.

By Friday, conditions are more unsettled, starting cloudy with outbreaks of light rain and drizzle. Sunny spells will break through later, with scattered showers, some potentially heavy though temperatures rise into the weekend.
