With large wildfires burning in California, the smoke has been captured by satellite, and on our WeatherRadar.

Fuelled by Santa Ana winds, one of the biggest blazes is the Palisades Fire, covering more than 23,000 acres west of Los Angeles. As of Tuesday, it is still just 17% contained.

On January 10th, NASA satellites, Terra and Aqua, captured the smoke trails from orbit. While, our WeatherRadar also caught the smoke as it drifted towards the Pacific Ocean.
