Breakfast brief
Grab those car scrapers this morning!

teaser

It's been a blissful and rare few days of blue skies across the UK, albeit cloudier across Ireland. But will the sunshine prevail?

Weather outlook

It'll be another chilly and frosty start across much of England and Wales, so have those windscreen scrapers at the ready this morning!

Cloud and rain will otherwise continue to linger across Ireland through Tuesday, stretching eastwards into Scotland during the morning. The rest of the UK will be basking under sunshine, and like Monday, it will certainly feel pleasant out there.

Further banks of cloud will drift eastwards Tuesday evening and night, giving way to cloudier conditions. The week will remain changeable with high pressure fighting it out with unsettled interludes. Temperatures will remain around or above average though.

What's coming up?

We are all counting down to a four day weekend as we celebrate Easter so look out for plenty of seasonal topics in the coming days.

With everything you need for the holiday including activities for the family and an exploration of the Easter bunny myth, plus all the weather information you need at a glance.
