Nestled in the Lake District, an idyllic spring scene was snapped at Waterhead, Ambleside.

This week delivered the first real thunderstorms of the year across Wales and England, but it's still the spring warmth that caught the camera lens.

Across the UK, and on holiday too in Spain, it was the appearance of blue skies that were snapped and sent in.
