Your weather - Your shots

After a Christmas break we are back once again exploring the UK and Ireland as snapped by you, our readers, and you have certainly been busy!

We start the new year in Ireland with Niall Keogh's stunning winter sunset captured at Killarney National Park overlooking Lough Leane as the dying sunlight offers one last dazzling display.

From the lakes to the skies of Corby courtesy of this drone shot submitted by Kenneth Moore capturing a vibrant evening sky as the light fades over the Northampton town.

Continuing on the theme of vibrant skies, Kirsty Collins in Hartlepool sends us this cotton candy pink view of her winter sunset. A sign that no matter where you are, no two sunsets are the same.

We end the first round-up of 2022 with a trip north to Scotland, far north with Robert Warren in the Highlands village of Reiss looking out to the North Sea under a blue sky and a warm hue.

If you were gifted a new camera for Christmas, or like to snap shots with your phone on every trip out, we want to see any shot you have of our wondrous weather. To submit a picture simply tap the image icon in the top-right, or click here.
