Wind, rain, snow
Storm front brings turbulent weather

Weather radar: A low-pressure system will move from the Atlantic to Central Europe starting on Thursday.WeatherRadar: A low-pressure system move from the Atlantic to Central Europe via southern UK from Thursday.

A significant change in the weather is expected in the second half of the week. A low-pressure system is forecast to move in from the Atlantic, passing through the UK towards Central Europe.

The low pressure system brings heavy rainfall and strong to stormy winds from Thursday into the weekend. Initially, it also brings fairly mild Atlantic air and temperatures well above freezing in some areas.

Sometimes rain, sometimes snow

Towards the weekend, however, cold air from northern directions will once again be directed towards Central Europe. As a result, the snow line may vary significantly not only in terms of location but also in terms of time.

In some regions, snow and rain are likely to alternate several times. Under certain circumstances, there may even be a full-blown snowstorm at times.
