Wet in UK, stormy in IE
Showery to start, potential for storms

Small showers form and move over the UK on Monday.

A grey start across the UK for the week, with showers spreading across many areas from the morning.

Moving west, these showers will help calm pollen levels in the areas they pass after a very dry start to the spring season.

Later this afternoon, into the evening, there is potential for an outbreak of thunderstorms in Ireland. Current forecasts suggest Co. Kilkenny will see the most potent of these should they form.

These conditions continue on Tuesday, with further outbreaks across southern Ireland before an expanded risk in the south-east of the UK.
