Heatwave takes grip once again

Heat-health warnings are in effect for Monday as the latest heatwave truly takes grip.

Amber alerts are active across the south and east of England, with yellow alerts for the West Midlands and Yorkshire, these warnings.

With highs of around 32°C to start the week, the heat increases again on Tuesday, heading towards the mid-30s in the south-east of England.

It is slightly cooler, but still warm elsewhere in the UK, while the warmth is pleasant across Ireland but will be quelled by arriving rainfall towards the evening.
