Staying mild too
Still wet and windy to start the week

The unsettled conditions continue into this week, initially remaining wet and gusty but mild.

Heavy showers push in from the Atlantic throughout the day, with the band responsible stretching across the UK and Ireland.

These join strong gusts widely up to 40 mph (64 km/h) as a low-pressure system moves by Ireland towards the north.

Despite this, it does remain relatively mild for the time of year. Highs on Monday reaching the mid-teens in many areas on the TemperatureRadar.
