Spring bloom
Tulip extravaganza in the US

Colourful tulips in the large fields of Skagit Valley

Tulip season is in full swing across America's Pacific Northwest, but in few places are the views more jaw-dropping than in Skagit Valley. Each April, the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in the Pacific Northwest marks the arrival of spring, attracting visitors from around the world to Washington State.

The region's fertile soil and temperate climate create an ideal environment for tulips, transforming the valley into a vibrant tapestry of colourful blooms.

The local climate is particularly supportive of tulip growth; the mild, moist conditions of spring are perfect for the flowers, which thrive in cool weather and well-drained soil.

This environment allows the bulbs to develop robustly over the winter, bursting into spectacular bloom with the arrival of spring warmth.

Closer to home, the famous tulip route in the Netherlands is also in full bloom. Making this the perfect time to visit and enjoy the spring feeling.
