Producing thunderstorms
Warnings for Friday as warm air arrives

Current warnings for Friday.

As warm air pushes north from the continent, the risk of widespread thunderstorms returning has prompted weather warnings for Friday.

The current outlook shows a risk across south-east to north-west England, with previous warnings also reaching Wales now no longer in force.

Ahead of Friday, a separate outbreak is possible early Thursday morning in south-west England. Up to 40 mm of rainfall could fall in some areas.
