Spring warmth for hottest day of 2026

Temperatures have passed 20 degrees for the first time this year in West London, with many other parts of England and Wales close too.

In Northolt, West London the daily high reached 20.1 °C at around 02:00 pm.

A separate reading of 20.1 °C was also captured in Gogerddan, a historic estate in Ceredigion, Wales with 20 °C at RAF Fairford too.

It is widely the warmest day of the day, though temperatures cool slightly from Thursday into the weekend.
