Newcastle also in line: Stormy afternoon in Scotland

Scotland sees a potentially thundery afternoon amid wet conditions and weather warnings in place.

Parts of central to north-east Scotland could see a stormy afternoon, into the evening, with conditions capable of delivering thunderstorms over the Highlands and close to Dundee.

This would develop from around 02:00 pm today, with potential also around Newcastle into the evening from around 07:00 pm.
