Never miss an opening
Perfect pictures with the WeatherRadar

Are you a keen amateur photographer but keep getting drenched while shooting? Or seeking a dramatic weather scene to capture… the WeatherRadar can help!

Our radars use real-time data on weather patterns to visualise current conditions in the Now tab of the WeatherRadar, and other while offering a look three days ahead to plan a scenic road trip.

If you're looking for a particular event, such as thunderstorms or clear sunny skies, a glance at the radar can help you plan.

While the WeatherRadar offers a view of everything, you can also find more detailed views on the TemperatureRadar, WindRadar, RainfallRadar, or the LightningRadar, depending on what you're looking for.

Searching for a storm

Thunderstorms are easy to spot on the WeatherRadar, look for the yellow dots which represent lightning strikes. Those with red outlines are the most recent.

Whether you’re a professional photographer or a hobbyist, using radar can greatly enhance the quality of your weather-related photography.

Don't forget to show off your shots! Use our dedicated uploader to submit any pictures you want to share.
