On Thursday, UV levels are reaching moderate to high levels.

With all the reports of temperatures rising at the end of the week, it's worthwhile remembering that with heat, UV levels are also on the rise.

Moderate to high levels of UV will arrive on Thursday, mostly across southern England. By Friday, these elevated levels head slightly further north with moderate UV in the Midlands.

Not all areas will need to reach for the sun cream, for many, the coming days will be marked by gloomy conditions with, at times heavy, rain passing through.

This keeps both the temperatures and UV levels lower than will be felt in southern England into the weekend.
