Golden waterspout casts surreal scene

A magnificent golden waterspout appeared in Russia, just moments before sunset.

This magical waterspout formation took place during the twilight hours over the Kama River, in Russia's Perm region.

This breath-taking event, which unfolded on July 13th 2023, left the mariners excited and laughing about the waterspout that radiated a golden glow thanks to the setting sun.

A waterspout, often referred to as a tornado over water, is a mesmerizing meteorological phenomenon characterized by a rotating column of air and water mist.

They are usually harmless since they typically occur over large bodies of water, but if they come ashore, they could cause localized damage and a few headaches for beach-goers.
