Patches of mist and fog from overnight will linger into the morning across parts of England and Wales in particular.

Staying fairly cloudy through the first part of the day, with spots of light rain or drizzle around, but late spells of sunshine breaking through as the afternoon wears on.

Clear periods to the south overnight, while cloud and rain will begin to edge in from the west to Ireland, accompanied by brisk winds.
