Breakfast brief - Unsettled conditions into the weekend

Conditions are much the same as Thursday, with continued scattered showers throughout the day before an unsettled weekend.

A brief period of gustier winds reaches Ireland and parts of the UK, but it is generally calm before Saturday, rain remains the primary factor today as temperatures see a high of around 20 °C in south-east England, cooler elsewhere.
