Breakfast brief: Largely dry and calm day

Another chilly day, but much of the rain has moved on since Wednesday, leaving a mostly dry day.

After some initial rain in south-east England this morning it's a largely dry, calm Thursday ahead, though again slightly chilly compared to the warmth felt last week.
