Breakfast brief: Broadly dry, cooler start to the week

A cooler start to the week than felt recently, with some showers but broadly dry.

Other than small showers at times, it is also a gusty day. Strongest in north-east England with gusts reaching up to 40 mph around Liverpool and wider gusts of around 30 mph.
