Grab the autumnal coat and brace, low-pressure is bringing unseasonably windy days to begin summer.

Tuesday is generally unsettled with plenty of showers, but it is the WindRadar that catches the eye. Gusts of around 45 mph will reach the southern coast of Ireland, with gusts around 40 mph more broadly.

As an area of low pressure moves north-east over the UK, the windy conditions become more widespread on Thursday also pushing into Scotland.

Gusts could reach around 50 mph locally in the coming days, with a short reprieve on Friday before a fresh low arrives over the weekend.
