After weekend warmth
Drop in temperature coming next week

The warmth peaks on Saturday, before a drop in the week to come.

Temperatures reach around 20 °C once again this weekend, but after peaking on Saturday with an early summer feeling, a quick fall follows.

Here's how warm the weekend will be where you areTemperatureRadar

As the new week begins, that winter jacket will be needed again. Cold polar air sweeps into Central and Western Europe via the UK and Ireland. Temperatures are set to drop by around 10 degrees in some areas.

The difference is particularly noticeable at night. From Tuesday onwards, there may even be a return of ground frost, though mostly only in typical cold spots and in open areas.

For amateur gardeners, this means it’s best to remain cautious with delicate plants. Farmers and winegrowers, too, will be watching the coming cold nights with some trepidation following the late frosts in April.
