Winter dryness
Time to get the moisturiser out

winter skin

Our skin becomes dry during the winter season because of the colder temperatures, which is why it is important to keep moisturised throughout the season.

The reason is because the colder temperatures cause our bodies to lose less heat causing our blood vessels to contract. Then our skin is poorly supplied with oxygen and the production of sebum is reduced. In turn, our skin dries out and begins to flake.

To prevent the occurrence of dry skin, you should invest in some moisturizing cream. Look for some that has natural additives such as shea butter, almond or jojoba oil as these are all good for the skin and can provide it with sufficient moisture.
