With Christmas in our sights the last thing we need is to catch a bug. So bolster your immune system with a wondrous winter vegetable.

Watercress is one of the most fortifying and nutritious vegetables available in Winter. In addition to a significant amount of iron, calcium and vitamin C, 100 grams of the leafy vegetable contain around 3,000 milligrams of vitamin A. In contrast, the same amount of spinach contains just 800 milligrams.

Moreover, watercress is very good for eyesight while ensuring healthy and smooth skin. Vitamin A and C also protect against infections and strengthen our immune systems.
