Just 4 weeks to go
Spring is nearly upon us

spring

With exactly four weeks to go until the start of spring, here are five things to look forward to.

Firstly, you will really start to notice those longer evenings with an increasing amount of sunshine throughout the entire season. Not only will the sun start to shine for a longer period of time, but temperatures will also gradually start to increase.

Secondly, if additional daylight hours and sunshine doesn’t put a smile on your face, perhaps the thought of cute new baby animals will? From lambs to chicks to baby bunnies, spring is full of life.

Third, spring also brings out new colours to the landscape, as flowers really start to bloom in time for the summer. With that spring breeze too, you’ll even get to enjoy the glorious fresh scents of all the plants.

The season also holds an event that a lot of people look forward to - Easter! That's right a whole weekend of over-indulging in all our favourite chocolates, especially if you have resisted the temptation for the 40 days prior.

Finally, there are four bank holidays this spring. Two to celebrate Easter and then two throughout May. So you see, spring isn’t too bad after all! Besides, it means summer is just right around the corner too.
