While many of us took a picture of the Flower Moon this month, one user has sent in a collection of inspiring astrophotography shots.

Thanks to clearer skies at night, the user who sent in the images above managed to capture our Moon, and two galaxies in incredible detail.

Located millions of light-years away, the two galaxies pictured are billions of years old. If you are inspired to try astrophotography yourself, the astro card in the app may be of interest.

Giving you information on the Moon's current phase and the timings of its rise and fall.

While you may not be able to capture images in such detail as those above, did you know you can use your phone to take great pictures of space?
